Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy applies when you create an Ask MoLi account, use Mind & Life or Eastern Wisdom features, complete Check-ins, submit feedback, or otherwise use the Ask MoLi Beta.

2. Information you may provide

• Account information such as display name and email address.
• Optional contact information such as WhatsApp, phone number, or another contact method.
• Conversation content that you choose to submit.
• Check-in answers, reports, assessment history, and saved progress where those features are used.
• Feedback, suggestions, and product issue reports.

3. Information created through use of the service

Ask MoLi may create service records needed to operate the product, such as account identifiers, authentication sessions, timestamps, selected modules, product state, and technical or security logs.

4. Sensitive personal content

Some conversations and Check-ins may involve relationships, family, emotions, work stress, difficult decisions, or other personal matters. Please share only what you are comfortable providing. Avoid unnecessary names, addresses, identification numbers, passwords, financial credentials, or private information about other people.

5. How information is used

Ask MoLi may use information to:

• create and authenticate your account;
• provide conversations, Check-ins, reports and saved progress;
• maintain continuity across visits where enabled;
• protect the service against abuse and security incidents;
• respond to support or feedback requests;
• debug, evaluate and improve the Beta service; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

6. Feedback privacy

The Ask MoLi Feedback tool records the feedback you submit together with service context such as your account identifier, page, selected module or topic when available, and submission time. It does not automatically attach your chat transcript. If you choose “you may contact me,” Ask MoLi may use the contact information in your account to follow up about that feedback.

7. Service providers

Ask MoLi uses third-party service providers to host, process, secure and operate the service. The current Beta uses Cloudflare infrastructure, including services used for web delivery, server-side processing, database storage and AI processing. Providers may process information on Ask MoLi’s behalf as needed to provide their services.

7A. Google Gmail API use

Ask MoLi uses the Google Gmail API only through an Ask MoLi service mailbox to send transactional service emails, such as password-reset verification codes. Ask MoLi uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send scope for this purpose.

Ask MoLi does not ask users to connect their personal Gmail accounts for this feature and does not use the Gmail API to read users’ inboxes, retrieve their email content, access their contacts, or monitor their Gmail accounts.

Information obtained through Google Workspace APIs is not sold, used for advertising or profiling, or used to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Ask MoLi’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

8. Payments

Paid features and PayPal billing are not enabled in the current Beta. If payments are introduced later, this policy and the service flow may be updated before live payment processing is enabled.

9. Cookies and sessions

Ask MoLi uses authentication/session technology so that signed-in users can remain signed in and return to saved progress. Clearing browser cookies or using private-browsing modes may end a session.

10. Data sharing

Ask MoLi does not sell personal information as part of the current Beta. Information may be shared with service providers when necessary to operate the service, or when disclosure is reasonably required for security, legal compliance, protection of rights, or response to valid legal process.

11. Retention

Ask MoLi retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security and continuity, resolve support matters, or meet applicable legal obligations. Retention periods may differ by record type. Backup or security records may persist for a limited period after active records are removed.

12. Your choices and requests

You may request access, correction, account deletion, or deletion of personal information by contacting Ask MoLi. Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide additional privacy rights. Ask MoLi may need to verify the request before acting on it.

13. Security

Ask MoLi uses reasonable technical measures intended to protect account and service data, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password confidential and notify Ask MoLi if you suspect unauthorized access.

14. International use

Ask MoLi is available globally during the Beta. Service providers and technical systems may process information in locations different from the country where you live. Applicable privacy protections and legal requirements can vary by jurisdiction.

15. Children and legal capacity

Ask MoLi is not intended for anyone who cannot legally consent to use an online service in their jurisdiction without required permission. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact Ask MoLi so the matter can be reviewed.

16. Changes to this policy

Ask MoLi may update this policy as the Beta develops. Material changes may be shown in the service or through another reasonable notice. The effective date above identifies the current version.
